Institute staff are primarily concerned with scientific problems from the clinical medical environment. The focus is on harnessing and using clinical data for research, teaching and patient care. This involves developing and evaluating IT and biostatistical tools and methods from data collection to statistical analysis.
We strive to cooperate on specialized interdisciplinary research and attach great importance to scientific collaboration with the university departments, centers and institutes of the Medical University of Graz. In addition, we work together with public institutions on evaluating programs on health promotion and prevention.
